When i was younger, i was all about the disney princesses. I've dressed up like all of them for halloween and my room was done in Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty. I still have a few things in my room that has to do with the princesses haha. I think that the princesses effects every little girl's life at some point. Could you seriously say that when you were little you didn't want to be a princess, i highly doubt it! The fact that they have been around for so long is great because you can talk about how much you liked them when you talk to younger girls now. I think that Disney Princesses are so great to have in a young girl's life !!

I totally agree with you. I was all about the princesses. I watched all of them. ANd my favorites are still Princess Jasmine and Princess Ariel. They are my favorites and when I was young I used to act like them and play Like I was a mermaid and THe princess of the palace.
THis is probably one of my favorite posts of everybody's. I just love it. sometimes I will still watch all those moveis if I get bored.
I realize that the Disney Princesses seem like the perfect dream, but I really don't think that Disney's idea of the princesses are at all good. The only role they ever play in the films is to find their Prince Charming which is an awful message to send to kids. Why should the message of finding love being the most important thing, be so important and stressed in most Disney movies when you are a child, doesn't this just give girls a false sense of what life should be, and what love really is?
